Introduction to Studio Art

In this semester long class, students will:

• learn the fundamental elements of design, composition, and basic skills in a variety of art media.

• be exposed to a variety of historical works of art to learn critical thinking, aesthetics, and different styles of visual communication,

• create several personally meaningful pieces of art, using their developed understanding of elements and principals and techniques.
